THE RESULTS OF THE ELECTROCABLE ASSOCIATION ENTERPRISES IN 2022
N.V. Sakharova, General Director of the Electrocable Association
Abstract. The article is based on the materials of the 81st general meeting of the Electrocable Association members. The main performance results of the Electrocable Association enterprises in 2022 are presented. The relationship between the dynamics of changes in the cable production volumes with the main macroeconomic indicators of the national economy development is shown. The cable industry demonstrated a decline by 2 % against the 2021 year, which is much lower than it had been forecasted before. Information about the production volumes of the main groups of cable products is given.
Key words: industrial production index, dynamics of cable and wire production volumes, production of energy cables and wires, production of connecting wires and cables for machinery, equipment and appliances, production of telecommunication wires and cables, production of wires and cables for transport

Abstract. This paper presents the results of design optimization of the 8-strand Rutherford cable for a highly stabilized conductor for the PANDA magnet-detector of the FAIR facility, aimed at maintaining the current-carrying capacity and other characteristics of the initial multifilament superconducting 1.4 mm NbTi/Cu wire during the cable manufacturing process. It is found that the wire used does not withstand deformation during the manufacture of the Rutherford cable with the initially specified parameters, and, therefore, the cable design must be improved. The design was optimized by reducing the transposition angle and increasing the cable width, which made it possible to significantly reduce the deformation in the edge strands. In strands taken from the cables of an optimized design, the degradation of the critical current does not exceed 5 %, and the resistive transition index n, which characterizes the quality of superconducting filaments, remains at the level of the initial wire. Widening of the cable width, which leads to a reduction in deformation during cable compaction from 24 to ~ 10 %, results in the strands RRR increase from 64 to 80–82.

Abstract. The article presents the results of a study on the tracking resistance of insulating materials based on polyolefins and other polymers. These materials are used for protective cable sheaths and as protective coatings in electrical engineering. A standardized test method was used to conduct the research. The results obtained made it possible to determine the CTI (comparative tracking index) characterizing the material's resistance to tracking.
